DAY 01: ARRIVAL KOTA KINABALU – KINABALU PARK – BOTANICAL GARDEN – PARK CHALET (Lunch / Dinner)

Pick up at 08:00 hrs from your hotel lobby in Kota Kinabalu city or the airport and begin your 3D2N Mount Kinabalu Package. Enjoy an approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive to Pekan Nabalu, located 73 km from Kota Kinabalu town. Here, you can browse a variety of local products, fruits, home-grown vegetables, and handicraft souvenirs.

Continue your journey to Kinabalu Park for pre-climb registration. Passports (International) / Original Identification Cards (Malaysian) are required for verification during registration. Please expect some waiting time, as queues may be long.

After registration, enjoy your lunch at the park restaurant.

Thereafter, proceed to the Silau-Silau Trail, which connects several other trails to form a loop around Kinabalu Park. The humidity in this area has encouraged the growth of mosses, ferns, and orchids. Although it is a long trail, it is almost completely flat and therefore not considered challenging. This trail offers hikers the flexibility to choose the length of their walk, with several entrances and exits along the route. It is one of the most popular trails for trekkers and hikers doing long-distance training, and is also suitable for those with a more sedentary lifestyle who prefer minimal uphill and downhill walking.

The Botanical Garden, Kinabalu Park, is one of Sabah’s most iconic nature attractions and a must-visit destination for travelers who wish to explore Borneo’s rare plants, beautiful orchids, and high-altitude rainforest. Located within Malaysia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, the garden offers a peaceful walk through one of the world’s richest ecosystems. The Botanical Garden is not just a place to see flowers—it is a living library of Borneo’s ecological treasures. Every plant, corner, and shaded walkway has a story, making each visit both eye-opening and enriching.

DAY 02: KINABALU PARK – LABAN RATA DORMITORY (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Wake up and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast, collect your individually packed lunch and meet your mountain guide. Please wear your Climbing Tag at all times. Unneeded luggage can be stored at the Sutera Sanctuary Lodge reception counter at MYR 15 per luggage, payable at your own expense.

You may engage a porter at Kinabalu Park. Porter fees are paid directly to the porter at MYR 14.00 per kg (Timpohon Gate > Laban Rata > Timpohon Gate).

Transfer to Timpohon Gate together with your mountain guide and begin your 6 km trek to Panalaban. Upon arrival, check in and overnight at Laban Rata Resthouse (unisex shared dormitory).

Dinner is served from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Laban Rata Restaurant. Enjoy your day and rest well for the summit climb.

DAY 03: LABAN RATA DORMITORY – LOW’S PEAK – KOTA KINABALU (Breakfast / Lunch)

Wake up at 1:30 AM and gear up for the summit climb. Supper is served from 2:00 AM to 3:30 AM at Laban Rata Restaurant. Begin your journey towards the summit of Low’s Peak (4,095.2 m) with your assigned mountain guide.

The cut-off time at Sayat-Sayat Check Point is 5:30 AM. Climbers who arrive after this time will not be allowed to proceed with the summit climb. Experience the glorious sunrise over the majestic Mount Kinabalu and take memorable photos at the summit plateau.

Descend back to Laban Rata for a well-earned breakfast. Check out and trek down to Timpohon Gate. Take the park shuttle transfer (KOKTAS) from Timpohon Gate to Liwagu Restaurant.

Enjoy a late lunch at Liwagu Restaurant (serving from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM). Lunch will be converted to a packed meal for climbers who arrive late at the park.

CONGRATULATIONS! You may now collect your Certificate of Achievement from our team. Transfer back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu (approximately 2 hours). Drop off at your selected hotel for check-in, leisure, and overnight.

DAY 04: MAMUTIK ISLAND SNORKELING – SUNSET DINNER CRUISE (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

The Mamutik Island Snorkeling Tour is perfect for ocean lovers, adventurous beginners, and families seeking a laid-back yet exciting day trip from Kota Kinabalu. Located just 10 minutes by boat, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP) offers some of Sabah’s most accessible and beautiful snorkeling spots.

The tour takes you beyond the shoreline for a guided boat snorkeling session in deeper, clearer waters, where you will explore vibrant coral gardens and spot fascinating marine life. Afterwards, enjoy the serene beauty of Mamutik Island—ideal for relaxing, photography, or another snorkeling session directly from the beach. With an à la carte lunch and ample leisure time, this tour perfectly blends exploration and relaxation.

In the late evening, enjoy a Sunset Dinner Cruise to celebrate your Mount Kinabalu climbing achievement. Kota Kinabalu, surrounded by mountain ranges and sun-dappled coastlines, is best admired from the waters of the South China Sea. Board this 2-hour cruise aboard the spacious 28-foot catamaran “Luna.”

Be welcomed by the warm glow of sunset as you cruise past the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and the city waterfront, while indulging in a luxurious dinner inside the air-conditioned restaurant. The scenic route and delicious cuisine are complemented by a melodious live band performance, creating a perfect end to your day.

The cruise concludes at Sutera Marina Jetty, where you will disembark.

DAY 05: DEPARTURE – KOTA KINABALU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (Breakfast)

Breakfast at the hotel. Free at leisure until transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport for your departure flight.
