DAY 01: ARRIVAL KUCHING / CITY TOUR / HOTEL (Dinner)

Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representatives and transferred to your selected accommodation (early check-in subject to availability).

In the afternoon, embark on a captivating Kuching City Tour. Kuching, the capital of Sarawak, reflects a rich multi-ethnic heritage. Discover notable landmarks such as the Colonial Court House, Clock Tower, Charles Brooke Memorial, Square Tower, vibrant Chinatown, and the ornate Chinese Temple. Enjoy picturesque views of the Sarawak State Legislative Building, The Astana, Fort Margherita, and the traditional Malay Village across the river from the Kuching Waterfront.

Conclude your exploration at Main Bazaar, the oldest street in the city and the historical heart of Kuching. Dinner will be served at Topsport Food Court, followed by transfer to your selected accommodation for check-in and overnight.

DAY 02: BAKO DAY TRIP OR BENGOH DAM OR BAMBOO RAFTING / HOTEL (Breakfast/Lunch)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for your selected excursion.

Option 1: Bako National Park Day Trip
At 08:00 hours, meet at the hotel lobby and depart for Bako National Park, Sarawak’s oldest national park and an ideal introduction to its rainforest and wildlife. The journey includes a 30-minute drive followed by a 30-minute boat ride.
Covering 16 square kilometers of pristine forest, Bako showcases over 25 types of vegetation, including carnivorous pitcher plants. The mangrove forest is home to endemic proboscis monkeys, as well as long-tailed macaques, silver leaf monkeys, monitor lizards, and bearded pigs. Enjoy jungle trekking along park trails, with lunch provided at the park canteen, before returning to your hotel.

Option 2: Bengoh Dam & Waterfall Adventure
Gather at the hotel lobby at 07:30 AM for a one-hour drive to Bengoh Dam. Upon arrival, board a boat and cruise across the serene man-made lake, surrounded by lush rainforest, mountains, and paddy fields.
Disembark at the waterfall jetty and trek approximately 30 minutes to Curtain Waterfall. Continue another 30 minutes to reach Susung Waterfall, a popular photo spot featuring a natural vine swing and a Jurassic Park–like atmosphere. Return to Curtain Waterfall for a refreshing swim and enjoy a packed lunch before trekking back to the jetty. Transfer back to Kuching city.

Option 3: Semadang River Kayaking & Bamboo Rafting
08:00 AM – Pick-up from hotel and transfer to Semadang River in the Padawan area (1–1.5 hours drive).
09:00 AM – Safety briefing by professional river guides, followed by kayaking along the scenic river.
10:30 AM – Stop at a mini waterfall for a refreshing swim, then switch to bamboo rafting at Kampung Danu. Experience hand-feeding wild fish before continuing to Sibudak Riverbank for swimming, mini cave exploration, and body rafting.
01:30 PM – Lunch at the base camp with shower facilities available.
03:30 PM – Depart for Kuching, arriving back at the hotel at approximately 04:30 PM.

Return to the hotel for leisure and overnight.

DAY 03: SEMENGGOH ORANGUTAN / IBAN LONGHOUSE (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast, proceed to Semenggoh Nature Reserve, located about 30 minutes from Kuching. Enjoy a short walk through dipterocarp forest before arriving at the sanctuary. Unlike a zoo, orangutans here roam freely within a 653-hectare forest reserve. Observe them during feeding time and learn about their behavior, emotions, and characteristics from your guide.

Continue your journey to the Mengkak Iban Longhouse, beginning with a scenic four-hour drive through Sarawak’s countryside. Pass vegetable farms, paddy fields, rubber, pepper, oil palm, and cocoa plantations. En route, stop at Serian town to explore the local wet market, followed by lunch at Lachau, a small “cowboy town” popular with traders from nearby Kalimantan. Use this opportunity to purchase gifts for your Iban hosts.

Upon arrival at Batang Ai Hydro Lake, board a longboat and cruise across the lake into the Engkari River. After approximately 30 minutes, reach the Iban Longhouse nestled on a hillside beside the river. Meet the villagers and experience daily life in a traditional longhouse consisting of 30 to 40 family rooms under one roof. Enjoy a glass of tuak (rice wine), cultural performances, dinner, and overnight stay at the longhouse.

DAY 04: IBAN LONGHOUSE / KUCHING / HOTEL (Breakfast/Lunch)

After breakfast, witness a traditional blowpipe demonstration held in the open space. Guests will have the opportunity to try using this iconic weapon and learn about its cultural significance.

Depart the longhouse via longboat and overland transfer back to Kuching. Lunch will be served en route. Upon arrival, transfer to your selected city hotel for check-in and overnight.

DAY 05: DEPARTURE (Breakfast)

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning until your scheduled transfer to Kuching International Airport for departure.
