DAY 01: ARRIVAL KUCHING / CITY TOUR / HOTEL (Dinner)
Upon arrival at Kuching International Airport (KCH), you will be warmly greeted by our representatives and transferred to your selected accommodation (early check-in is subject to availability).
In the afternoon, embark on a captivating Kuching City Tour. Kuching, the vibrant capital of Sarawak, offers a glimpse into its rich multi-ethnic heritage and colonial history. Discover notable landmarks such as the Colonial Court House, Clock Tower, Charles Brooke Memorial, and the historic Square Tower. Wander through the bustling Chinatown and visit an ornate Chinese Temple.
Enjoy picturesque views of key civic landmarks, including the modern Sarawak State Legislative Building, The Astana (former residence of the White Rajahs), and Fort Margherita, all visible across the river from the scenic Kuching Waterfront.
Conclude your exploration at Main Bazaar, the oldest street in the city and the historical heart of Kuching. Dinner will be served at Topsport Food Court before transfer back to your accommodation for check-in and overnight.
DAY 02: SERIKIN / FAIRY CAVES / BAU LAKE / PAKU ROCK MAZE (Breakfast/Lunch)
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy an early drive to Serikin Border Town, a lively weekend market where you can take colorful photos and browse for unique souvenirs from local vendors and Indonesian traders.
Continue to the spectacular Fairy Caves (Gua Kapor), located approximately 8 km from Bau Town. A series of concrete steps leads to the cave entrance, set high within a limestone cliff. Inside, well-maintained plank walkways allow you to explore vast chambers filled with impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Next, visit Tasik Biru (Blue Lake) in Bau, a former gold mining site transformed into a scenic lake about 35 km from Kuching. Its striking deep-blue waters make it a popular spot for relaxation and photography. Enjoy lunch at a local café nearby; optional water activities are available at your own expense.
Proceed to Paku Rock Maze Garden, where ancient geological formations—believed to date back to the late Jurassic to Cretaceous period—form a fascinating natural labyrinth. Explore this unique landscape and appreciate its ancient beauty.
Return to Kuching for overnight at the same hotel.
DAY 03: FOOD HUNTING DAY / PHOTO TRAIL / SAMPAN CRUISE (Breakfast)
After breakfast, begin an immersive photo and food-hunting adventure through the heart of Kuching.
Start with a photo stop at the iconic Padungan Big Cat Statue. Strike a fun pose—perhaps a “Tango dance”—as your guide captures the moment. Continue to the Family Cat Statue in front of the Grand Margherita Hotel, where local legend says rubbing the kitten’s head brings good luck.
Stroll along the lively Kuching Waterfront and capture photos at the famous “I LOVE KUCHING” sign. Pose playfully with the crocodile sculpture before heading to the elegant Darul Hana Bridge, where you’ll enjoy a memorable “catwalk” photo moment on this S-shaped pedestrian bridge.
Enjoy a culinary stop at Café Dewi Laksa, sampling local favorites such as Sarawak Laksa, Belacan Bee Hoon, and Kampua Mee.
Continue your photo trail to historical landmarks including Padang Merdeka, St. Thomas’ Cathedral, Carpenter Street, Main Bazaar, and Tua Pek Kong Temple, before ending at India Street Pedestrian Mall, a historic trading street known for textiles and souvenirs.
After lunch (recommended by your guide at a local eatery), enjoy free time to explore or relax at the hotel.
In the afternoon, transfer to the jetty for a relaxing Sampan Cruise. Experience traditional Sarawak wooden boats, including Malay Sampan, Orang Ulu boats, and Iban longboats. Each boat accommodates up to 12 passengers and is equipped with life jackets. After the cruise, return to your hotel for overnight.
DAY 04: SEMENGGOH ORANGUTAN / SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, meet at the hotel lobby at 09:00 hrs and proceed to Sarawak Cultural Village, also known as the “Living Museum.” Explore seven replicas of Sarawak’s major ethnic traditional houses, including Chinese, Malay, Melanau, Penan, Bidayuh, Iban, and Orang Ulu homes. Enjoy a vibrant cultural dance performance at the village theatre.
At 14:00 hrs, continue to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. Walk along the jungle trail and observe semi-wild orangutans during feeding time—an unforgettable encounter with the “Wild Man of Borneo” in its natural habitat.
On the return journey to Kuching, stop at a Sarawak Pottery Factory for souvenir shopping. Dinner will be served at a local café before returning to your hotel for leisure and overnight.
